Convert 10 mm to cm
 1 cm
 To convert a unit to something bigger, divide it by 10, 100 or 1000. To convert it to something smaller, multiply it by 10, 100 or 1000. To get to 1 cm you have to divide 10mm by 10 leaving you with 1. 10mm=1 cm
If I have a pentagon with a side length of 2 km, what is the perimeter?
 10 km
 2 km x 5= 10km
What would be the best unit of measurement to measure the length of a bench top? mm, cm or m.
 metres
 A bench top is approximately 2 m in length.
Convert 10 km to cm
 1,000,000 cm
 10 km x 1000= 10,000m. 10,000 x 100= 1,000,000cm
I have a rectangle with a width of 10 cm and a length of 50 mm. What is the perimeter of this shape?
 30 cm
 10 cm + 10 cm= 20 cm. 50mm= 5 cm. 5 cm + 5 cm= 10 cm. 20 cm + 10 cm= 30 cm
